Earlier we posted about the Osmond Designs Home at the Saint George Parade of Homes. The Osmond’s Home is Home #12 – Reclaimed Modern that was built by Ron Jensen and Sons Construction. Here is an inside peek of the home.
The soft, muted, color palette of this room is soothing and elegant all at once. A soft glow from the gilded branch based lamp creates the perfect ambiance for the room. A beautiful lamp shade that glows of orchid adds just enough accent to draw the eye and add interest to this sitting area. Streamlined panels frame the window with understated elegance. Innovative use of a screw top stool as the chair side table adds whimsy to the look. Coordinated pillows with a fresh, white, stripe echo the clean white button tufted chairs.
Tray tables on each side of the bed hold silver based lamps with a minimal touch of nature via the flowers and green plant to accent the look. The crossed legs of the tables add interest. Document pillows are supported with back pillows in contrasting color and punctuated with the incredible print pillow showcased in the front. A small striped pillow finishes the pillow design. The rich colored duvet neatly folded across the bottom of the bed adds to the clean lined tailored feel of the room. An ornate metal headboard adds charm and whimsy to the room while the mirror above the bed creates the feeling of expanded space and offsets the sweetness of the headboard with straight lines and thick, dark wood.
Beautifully grained light oak, thoughtful design, and the perfect understated hardware make this buffet a main focus of this furniture arrangement. Silver designed vases topped with green globes of foliage and a contrasting smooth lined mirror add pizazz. Seat studded black leather chairs are soften by fresh pillows with contemporary design print that soften without sweetness and keeps the look on the contemporary side. Straight chair legs look sleek. Black picture frames add the perfect accent to the wall.
The perfect reading nook is created by this comfortable, tufted, linen chaise draped with a soft, comfy throw, and softened with pillows. Notice how the throw and pillow add eye catching accent to the chaise. A round topped table with metal legs conveniently holds reading glasses and is the perfect place to set a favorite book. Down light from the lamp reflects from the wall for a cozy effect.
Solid and sturdy describes the strong oak pedestal and roughly hewn texture of this table. The table runner echos the rectangular shape of the table creating a geometric effect. Silver candlesticks hold artichokes. Rocks, twigs, and dried plant material in a glass cylinder vase seem to stand on there own as the clear vase almost vanishes from view. The reflective mirror bordered in mosaic mirror tiles creates interesting facets of light on the wall spreading patterned light across the wall. An antique musical instrument adds a bit of whimsy. Lush velvety chairs with slightly distressed wooden frames surround the table and add richness to the room.
Our Parade of Homes kitchen is a masterpiece of dark wood and silver. Textured silver tiles gleam from the walls while the hanging lights add industrial flare. Slate grey concrete countertops anchor the kitchen and balance the high, light, ceiling. A minimal faucet and stainless steel sink almost vanish from view and blend into the concrete countertops. Richly grained deep oak stools with industrial metal legs are the perfect accent to this look. The simple design of the stools adds a pop of accent to the kitchen without drawing undue attention away from the rest of the room.
Distressed mixes with contemporary to create this effect. The mirror has an almost armored feel to it, distressed columns, and textured duvet and shams add just enough variety without overdoing it. Unobtrusive stripes continue to add a bit of surprise. Velvety pillows with cut out design look lush and furry adding softness and cozy comfort to the bed. Dark lamps contrast light colors.
Cocoa pillows turned vertically in front of a wooden and upholstered headboard create the backdrop for the pillow design in this bedroom. Layering in groups of three’s and two’s, and accented by a small pillow in front, creates a pleasing balance to the pillow design. The cocoa duvet blends well with the pillows. Oak wooden night stands and the wood on the bedframe add a natural element to this cozy and relaxing bedroom.
In this unique design the bathtub is flanked by double sinks. This innovative design is a space saver. Granite counter tops add opulence to the bathroom. Silver accessories add sparkle.
Streamlined shower design with built in shelves. Soft colors create a relaxing atmosphere conducive to relaxation.
Metal and wood are tastefully combined to create this open streamlined office. The light leather chair adds a soft place to sit while working. Studs on the chair seat and the unique desk accessory create interest. Thick dark framed pictures accent the wall.
